Magic Mountains

This July, the Goat Community will be broadcasting its Second Chapter Magic Mountains Event, exclusively on Ibiza Live Radio. The event will take place on July 9th at the São Macário hill in Portugal, and will feature an absolutely talented lineup including Yokoo, Parallells, KlinKlop, Shrumate, PauloPg, and Mendes.

The Event Location – São Macário

São Macário is a hill located in northern Portugal, and is known for its beautiful views. Specifically, from the top of the hill one has stunning views of the Montemuro hill, the Estrela Mountain, and various small towns and villages that are seemingly lost in the hills. In addition to its natural beauty, São Macário also has a rich history and legend associated with it. According to the legend, the hill got its name from a rich castellan's son who fled to the mountain to escape civilization. The young man, Macário, purposely as a penitence isolated himself in order to live a life of contemplation and prayer. His ability to survive in the wilderness and his peculiar talent for carrying burning embers with his bare hands made him a legend among the locals. Today, São Macário is a popular destination for hikers and nature lovers alike.

YOKOO

French born, Australian at heart, Lisbon based and full time globe trotter, over the last few years YokoO has floated, dreamed and swooned his way across the world to some of the loftiest echelons. A studio-head in the true sense of the word, YokoO's last 20 years have seen him master house music in all its deepest forms. With a prolific and impressive discography, YokoO has made his mark on noteworthy labels to date with original releases and a back-catalogue of strong remixes. His most recent notable projects Pachamama and Euneirophrenia anticipated the evolution behind the January '21 release of his latest EP Jivanmuktih on Crosstown Rebels' offshoot Rebellion. 2021 marks for YokoO the re-birth into a significant new chapter of his career as a producer, with a matured musical intuition charged with seductive blends of eclectic, deep, minimal and hypnotic house grooves.Between gigs, you'll find YokoO producing in his home-build studio in Lisbon or saluting the sun somewhere in Mexico.

PARALLELLS

Thomas and Julien de Bie are two dutch brothers from the South of France. Growing up influenced by jazz, Parallells propose an acoustic live-act mixing several genres whilst keeping a groovy and melodic edge. With their distinct style and approach, Julien and Thomas regularly explore unusual places where they capture all kinds of sounds and transform them into pieces of electro music. A wood factory, a hospital, a workshop, a supermarket, a ski resort, an airport, a restaurant kitchen, a greenhouse, and even a dental's office has been their creative playground for their upcoming Album "A Day At".   They also created "A Day In” which translates cultures by the power of sound through field recordings and collaborations with local and traditional musicians. “We want to show the viewer the importance of listening. Especially guiding the audience to feel, experience and fully grasp a specific culture, landscape and moment from a musical perceptive."

KLIN KLOP

Inês Meira, violinist since childhood, music producer and sound designer, operates under the alias of Klin Klop in the world of djing. She is driven by the semantics of her own musical alter ego, Klink meaning Sound and Klop meaning Beat, mashing them under influences that swing from groovy Disco to mystic Funk, from dancy Micro and Tech-house to a deep Techno with fat basslines, and from tropical afro to eclectic etnobeats, gluing them all in a strong and powerful blend that floods the dance floors with intense rhythms, character and a very creased musical personality, who will not let anyone indifferent and keep everybody shaking their body assets.
